The Thursday Club is a women's literary club that was founded in 1889 for the purpose of studying literature and other fine arts. The nine founders of the club were Amy Nash, Nellie Dages, Blanche Cadot, Dora Nordhurst, Ella Kerr, Mabel Marvin, Nora Kerr, Laura Thorniley, Grace Wymond, Rowena Cherrington, and Dora Stockhoff.
